Begin by placing the smith machine bar or apparatus to hold on to at chest height.

Putting a bench out in front of you to put your feet on, allow your hips to hang just below the bar as you prop your feet up on the bench, and hold on to the bar above you.

From here, pull yourself up to the bar so that your chin reaches to allow a good contraction in your lats. Return back to the starting position at the bottom to allow for a full stretch before repeating.
