1. Standing in an upright position, grab the bar or EZ bar with a shoulder width grip with your palms facing towards your body.
  2. Leading with your elbows, begin to raise the bar up keeping it as close to your body as possible until it reaches just below your chin.
  3. Your shoulders should be above your wrists at this point where you will begin to lower the bar back down in the same plane of motion to the starting position.
